The damage caused by corruption to the country must be restored, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in his speech at the event dedicated to the Day of Anti-Corruption Committee Employee and the first anniversary of the formation of the structure.

"There is no more room for objective and subjective reasons. I specifically, as the head of the government, as an official who received the mandate of the people, state that we no longer need to say - ah, you know this clause of the law, it seems, banking secrecy, judicial system, etc. An anti-corruption system has been formed, this mechanism must be fully functional and the damage caused to our country by corruption must be repaired. I repeat: this is not a matter of political bias. This is one of the most important tools to ensure the sovereignty, independence and security of our country," Pashinyan said.

There was also an awards ceremony for the committee's staff.
