Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping on his re-election as the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

"We [i.e., Armenia] are ready to make efforts to deepen the multi-layered agenda established between Armenia and China. I am convinced that with joint efforts we will succeed in qualitatively raising the Armenian-Chinese political dialogue to a new level and enriching the pages of the history of our age-old friendship with new achievements for the benefit of our two friendly peoples,” the message states, in particular.
