The Armenian authorities have banned the entry of Margarita Simonyan—chief editor of Russia Today (RT) media group and RT television of Russia—into Armenia, Simonyan herself has announced.

"The current head of Armenia has banned Konstantin Zatulin [the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the Russian State Duma], who actively supports Armenia for many years, from entering Armenia. Me too, by the way," the well-known Russian Armenian journalist wrote on Telegram.
