Armenia has 240 casualties as a result of Azerbaijan's military attack in September. The speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia noted about this to reporters in the NA Wednesday.

"The Republic of Armenia is under attack every day, whereas we hear different tales from those well-known actors of televisions. We have 240 casualties as a result of the [recent Azerbaijani] attack, we have a foreign army that invaded our border," Alen Simonyan said.

"Armenia is not big enough to tolerate even a one-meter concession [of territory] and say, 'We are establishing relations.' Armenia does not spoil its relations with any country. Armenia wants that they be fair to it, that the obligations which have been taken towards its borders be fulfilled, and it will do everything for that. There is no emotion here, there is no question of liking or not liking, there are obligations, the fulfillment of which we will pursue, and we will try to protect the lives of our [military] boys and our borders by all possible means," the Armenian parliament speaker added.

On October 14, during the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had announced that as a result of the Azerbaijani military aggression in September, the number of casualties and missing persons of Armenia had exceeded 210, of which three civilians were killed and two were missing. According to Pashinyan, 293 Armenian servicemen and eight civilians were wounded, and the number of missing servicemen is 28.
