Armenia plans to increase pensions in July next year, Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan said in the National Assembly on Wednesday.

In the beginning of the year some increase in the salaries of civil servants is also planned. According to him, these are the directions which will be targeted to increase the incomes of certain population groups in next year's draft budget.

Touching upon the topic of inflation, Khachatryan noted, in particular, that the Central Bank is doing its best to keep it within the norm and control.

"Inflation at 8.6% is not such a big indicator for Armenia if compared to neighboring countries," said the head of the Ministry of Finance.
