YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: According to the [Armenian] authorities’ circles, the trilateral meeting to be held in [Russia’s] Sochi on October 31 [between the Armenian, Russian, and Azerbaijani leaders] will not be groundbreaking; it will be just another [meeting].

[Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan announced to his narrow [political] team that he will not sign the Russian version of the "peace treaty" [between Armenia and Azerbaijan] under any circumstances—even if they threaten with a change of power in Armenia.

Pashinyan said that the people [of Armenia] are with the [country’s] authorities, and he is not afraid of threats of the RF [(Russian Federation)].

Moreover, he said that the [aforesaid peace] treaty, in fact, will not be signed in the near future, as [Azerbaijani president Ilham] Aliyev is also against the Western version, and it is more because of him that the Western version [of this treaty] is being aborted.

The president of Azerbaijan hopes that, by maintaining tension, he can reach the desired corridor, and that is the reason for aborting the versions being proposed.
