Azerbaijan and Russia are discussing the issues of increasing the number of checkpoints on the border of the two countries, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev said on Thursday, speaking at the XV Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Baku, TASS reports.

"Yesterday we had the opportunity to conduct monitoring on the border with Russia. We saw that the flow (of goods) at the border is increasing. In this regard, we discussed the possibility of improving the efficiency of cooperation in this area in order to increase the number of checkpoints," Mustafayev said.
