Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with French Defense Ministry delegation headed by Guillaume Ollagnier, Head of International Relations and Strategy Department of French Armed Forces, on Thursday.

The meeting was attended by French Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Anne Louyot, the National Security Service informed NEWS.am.

Grigoryan welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia and stressed its importance.

The interlocutors stressed with satisfaction the practical steps undertaken by the two sides towards deepening and expanding the Armenian-French relations.

During the meeting Grigoryan presented the Armenian armed forces reforms and the efforts undertaken towards the establishment of peace in the region.

The interlocutors discussed the prospects of cooperation in the defense sphere.
