Seoul's decision to supply arms and ammunition to Ukraine is destructive to relations between Russia and the Republic of Korea, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We have very good relations with the Republic of Korea. And we have always been able to have a dialogue with both the Republic of Korea and the DPRK. But now we know that the Republic of Korea has decided to supply weapons and ammunition to Ukraine. This will destroy our relations," he said, speaking at a plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Forum.

"And how would the Republic of Korea feel if we resumed nuclear cooperation with North Korea?" the president of the Russian Federation wondered.
