The deputies of the National Assembly of France stated that they had come to Armenia to be by Armenians' side in a difficult period. Their remarks came during the Friday's meeting with the representatives of the NA Armenia-France Friendship Group. They informed that the National Assembly of France is going to adopt a resolution that proposes certain sanctions against Azerbaijan, condemnation of Azerbaijani aggression, a demand to return the occupied territories and return to the negotiating table on the initiative of the "Renaissance" group, the press service of the National Assembly reports.

Armenian MPs attached great importance to the adoption of the abovementioned resolution. The head of the Armenia-France Friendship Group V. Vardanyan highly assessed the dynamic development of relations with France, in particular, between the legislative bodies. The deputy congratulated the newly elected members of the National Assembly of France in the name of the Friendship Group. It was noted that in near future a friendship group with Armenia will be set up in the French Parliament.

Issues concerning the development of the Armenian-French cooperation in the economic sphere, the implementation of joint projects and the long-term stable investments were discussed. Armenia improves the economic and competitive environment for attracting new investments. From the viewpoint of economic development, regional stability and inviolability of borders were emphasized.
