U.S. President Joe Biden mixed up the number of states in the United States and said that the United States consists of 54 administrative and political units, the Fox News television channel reports.

Talking about the Democrats' 2018 campaign in Pennsylvania, the head of state noted that they visited 54 U.S. states.

"That's why we defeated it in 2018 when they tried to do it. We went to 54 states," the American leader quipped. The state is made up of 50 states and the federal District of Columbia.
