Ferrari has unveiled the Ferrari 499P hypercar, with which it will return to the top class of marathon racing after a 50-year absence.

The Ferrari 499P has slim LED headlights, a large splitter at the front and a massive rear anti-wing with a fin. The all-wheel-drive car is powered by a V6 turbocharged gasoline engine combined with a seven-speed sequential transmission, a 272-horsepower hybrid system and a 900-volt battery.

The total power of the power plant, according to the requirements of the sports regulations, is 680 hp. electric motor drives the front axle, hypercar is also equipped with an energy recovery system.

In the racing Ferrari 499P will debut in March 2023 at the start of the first stage of the FIA WEC, which will be held in the American Sebring.
