People’s Artist of Armenia, renowned stage director Vahe Shahverdyan has died at the age of 77. His son, also a stage director Suren Shahverdyan, informed about this on Facebook.
Vahe Shahverdyan was born on August 9, 1945 in Kirovakan (Vanadzor), Armenia.
In 1995-1999, he was an MP of the National Assembly.
From 2008, Vahe Shahverdyan was the artistic director of the Vanadzor theater.
He was the author of 85 theater plays, many of which have been successfully performed in numerous countries.
