The United Nations, Turkey and Ukraine on Sunday agreed on a plan to move 16 ships that are in Turkish territorial waters on October 31, the Voice of America reports.

The announcement came a day after Russia suspended its participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which allows food exports from Ukrainian ports.

The Joint Coordination Center (JCC) in Istanbul, where Russian, Ukrainian, and Turkish representatives as well as UN officials work, said in a statement that Turkish, Ukrainian and UN delegations also agreed to inspect 40 ships leaving Ukrainian ports beginning Monday, Oct. 31.
