About AMD 76.2bln will be assigned to Armenian police in 2023, Deputy Chief of Armenian Police Ara Fidanyan said during the debates on the 2023 draft state budget.

Fidanyan noted that 66.6 billion drams were allocated for the needs of law enforcers in 2022. "The difference is 9.6bln AMD or 14.4%," the Deputy Chief of Police said.

He also noted that the program allocations in the spheres affecting the Police are 74 billion drams. In comparison with the 65bln AMD of the current year, this rose by 9bln (15,2%). We are talking, in particular, about organizational and legal activities, services, ensuring public safety, and combating various kinds of offenses.
