Inflation in Armenia has reached 9.9%, Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic Martin Galstyan said in the National Assembly of Armenia on Monday's joint session of the parliamentary standing committees during the discussion of the state budget draft for 2023.
According to him, it is comparable to the inflation level in some European countries. All this, as the head of the Central Bank noted, can't help but cause some concern.
"When a new phase of mobilization was announced on the Russian side, it led to an influx of new individuals, which in turn increased the influence of the external demand factor on our inflation," Galstyan explained, promising that they would make every effort to prevent further increases in inflation.
