Polling stations in Israel opened at 7:00 local time on November 1 for early parliamentary elections, TASS reports.
This is the fifth parliamentary election since April 9, 2019. Their results will determine the composition of the Knesset (parliament) of the 25th convocation, and then the procedure of forming a government coalition will begin. If it is successful, the new government and prime minister will be sworn in.
At these elections, according to the CEC, 6.78 million voters will be able to vote: these are citizens over 18 years old who on a voting day are in Israel or abroad on official business trips.
There will be about 12,000 polling stations across the country. You can cast your vote until 10 p.m. Then the results of exit polls will be announced, at which time the counting of the ballots cast will begin.
