Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Tehran Tuesday morning at the head of a high-ranking delegation at the invitation of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, IRNA reported.

Upon arrival, Pashinyan was welcomed by Iran’s Vice-President and Head of Plan and Budget Organization Massoud Mir-Kazemi.

Within the next few hours, Pashinyan is to be officially welcomed by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi at Saadabad cultural complex in north Tehran.

In Tehran, the Armenian premier is to hold talks with the Iranian president on regional and bilateral issues, attend a signing ceremony on bilateral cooperation, and hold a joint press briefing.
