During a briefing with reporters in the National Assembly on Tuesday, the chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) reflected on the work being carried out towards the prime minister Nikol Pashinyan's instruction to ensure the entry of Azerbaijanis into Armenia.

"All the steps that were talked about have been taken. They are documented, the government's decisions were put on e-draft, then they were sent to the prime minister's office, to the three departments concerned. Certain work was also carried out at the noted [border] checkpoints. Border checkpoints and control procedures have already been specified," said Rustam Badasyan.

And when asked what dangers these processes can bring with them, the SRC chief said: "None. What dangers are we talking about? We have announced that the agenda of [regional] unblocking is definitely an acceptable agenda for the [Armenian] government, and we have taken steps stemming from it. The process can be said to be over. If the other side is also ready to use the services being provided by such [border] [check]points, then we are ready."
