Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan intends to discuss the grain deal situation with his counterparts Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, RIA Novosti reported.
"The president will hold telephone talks with Putin and Zelenskyy in the coming days," the Turkish minister said.
Putin noted at a news conference following talks with Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders in Sochi that Russia was not terminating its participation in the deal, but suspending it.
Erdogan said after Russia announced it was suspending its participation in the grain deal that Ankara would continue its efforts to bring cereals to world markets. For his part, Omer Celik, official special representative of the ruling Justice and Development Party, confirmed today that work in this direction is underway "at all levels."
