Iran considers the seizure of lands of other countries by force illegal, Mohammad Jamshidi, Iran's deputy chief of staff for political affairs, wrote on Twitter.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomed and supported the liberation and return of Islamic territories to Azerbaijan. Now that liberation is realized, any capturing of further territories is occupation," he wrote.
