Russia resumes its participation in the Istanbul product deal because it has received sufficient guarantees, the Defense Ministry reported.
"Thanks to the participation of an international organization (UN ), as well as the assistance of Turkey, we managed to get the necessary written guarantees from Ukraine on the non-use of humanitarian corridor and Ukrainian ports, defined in the interests of exporting agricultural products, for combat operations against Russia, sent to the Joint Coordination Center on November 1, 2022," said in the department, RIA Novosti reported.
The Defense Ministry recalled that after Ukraine committed an act of terrorism against the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian vessels involved in ensuring the security of the "grain corridor" on October 29, Russia suspended the implementation of the "product deal."
