The Polish leadership should understand that if it unleashes aggression, the war will affect not only Belarus but the whole of Eastern Europe, said Lieutenant General Alexander Volfovich, Secretary of State of the Belarusian Security Council, during a meeting with colleagues in the CIS, RIA Novosti reported in Moscow.
The Polish leadership should understand that if it unleashes aggression, the war will affect not only the territory of Belarus, but the whole Eastern Europe. The peaceful people of Poland and other countries will suffer because of this. They won't forgive their political leaders for what they are trying to do today, BelTA quotes Volfovich after the meeting.
Secretary of State noted Minsk's disquiet over the military rhetoric, sounded by the Western neighbors. First of all, the matter concerns Poland's militarization and its aggressive intentions.
To the detriment of the economic interests of their country, they stake on militarization, increasing the number of troops and equipment, no one thinks about the ordinary Polish people and what they need it for. But it is clear what it is necessary for: to unleash aggression. To unleash aggression against whom? Naturally, the closest is the Republic of Belarus, said the general. He stressed that the Berlin Wall, which was once destroyed in Germany, was now transferred to the territory of Belovezhskaya Pushcha: five-meter high fences were built and barbed wire was stretched on the initiative of Poland and the Baltic States.
And the leadership of these countries is not going to make any contacts and is not going to discuss the problems. This is sad, scary and wrong, Volfovich concluded.
