No one questions the fact that the roads and transport infrastructures to be unblocked in the region will be under the jurisdiction of the countries through whose territory they will pass, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said on Thursday at the joint session of permanent parliamentary committees at the National Assembly during the discussion of the 2023 state budget draft.

According to him, this is evidenced by the latest statements by the authorities of the republic, as well as by recent meetings initiated outside Armenia.

Mirzoyan said other details are still under discussion. He emphasized Armenia's constructiveness on the issue, as well as the destructiveness of Azerbaijani and other possible interested parties.

"The issue of unblocking territorial, economic and transport infrastructures is one of the main directions of the negotiation process, and constitutes an important part of the comprehensive settlement in the South Caucasus region," the foreign minister said.
