YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: After the multi-thousand-strong rally held on October 30 at [capital] Stepanakert's Revival Square, there have been serious changes in political sentiments in Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)]. The Artsakh source of Past newspaper reports that changes have taken place in the public sector as well.
According to our information, the active political processes going on in Artsakh, among other factors, are due also to the fact that in the near future [Russian Armenian businessman and philanthropist] Ruben Vardanyan [who has been appointed Minister of State] will become the main actor in the Artsakh political domain.
Let us also add that the third president [of Armenia], Serzh Sargsyan, is currently in Artsakh. According to our information, as a rule, while in Artsakh Sargsyan meets with friends, comrades-in-arms, and relatives in Artsakh, but he also has discussions of a different nature. Let us note that Bako Sahakyan, the former president of Artsakh, always accompanies him during the meetings.
By the way, we have information that there will be a considerable presence from Artsakh as well at the rally scheduled for November 5 at France Square [in Armenia’s capital Yerevan].
