Armenian Ambassador Armen Ghevondyan met with Kazakhstan's Commissioner for Human Rights, Elvira Azimova, the embassy of Armenia in Kazakhstan informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The envoy presented the current situation and humanitarian problems in the border regions of Armenia as a result of the Azerbaijani military aggression—in September—against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia. In this context, gross violations of human rights, as well as norms of international law, were presented, too—and which were summed up in the report prepared by the Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.

Also, Ghevondyan and Azimova addressed a number of specific matters related to the protection of the rights of Armenian and Kazakh citizens.
