The United States remains committed to supporting peace in the South Caucasus region, State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a statement.
Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken received Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov for direct talks at Blair House on November 7 to help move toward a lasting peace agreement.
Yesterday's meeting underscores Armenia and Azerbaijan's serious desire for peace through intensified dialogue, the report noted.
