British Cabinet Minister Gavin Williamson has resigned after recent allegations of harassment, saying the allegations against him are a distraction from the good work this government is doing.
The MP conceded that claims about his conduct had become a “distraction” and he had decided to “step back from government” while the complaints process was carried out, vowing to “clear my name of any wrongdoing”
According to the PA news agency, Sunak accepted his resignation with great sadness.
