May Armenia have many scientists who will open the doors of science to new generations, Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan's message stated on the occasion of the World Science Day for Peace and Development.

The message reads in part:

"Dear scientists of the Republic of Armenia, compatriots having achievements in the sphere of science and sparing nothing for its development, I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of your professional holiday. Our country needs people who are engaged in research, who make the state more recognizable with their work.

With the brain drain around the world, science no longer knows any borders: individuals are forcing the world to draw boundaries, to give inventions and scientific discoveries to their native country.

I wish you soon the fruits of the work for which you act day and night, for which you are willing to fight on the highest tribunes, and for which the rest often seems secondary."
