Yuri Babakhanyan has been appointed the Ambassador of Armenia to Sri Lanka.
The decree to that effect was signed by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan—and based on the respective recommendation of the Prime Minister.
Babakhanyan serves as the Ambassador of Armenia to India, and he will concurrently hold the new position.
His diplomatic residence will continue to be in New Delhi.
