Russian and Iranian presidents Vladimir Putin and Ebrahim Raisi discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda.

According to the Kremlin's press service, a number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed during the telephone conversation, with a focus on further enhancing cooperation in political and trade-economic areas, including the transport and logistics sphere.

It was agreed that contacts between relevant Russian and Iranian agencies would be intensified.

Vladimir Putin once again expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in Shiraz mosque on October 26.
