Former U.S. President Donald Trump has not posted anything on his social media for over 24 hours, Fox News reported. According to the channel, the politician remains silent amid the retention of the majority in the Senate for the Democratic Party on the preliminary results of the midterm elections to Congress.

As noted, the last message from Trump, who quite often comments on key events in the United States, especially political, was a post about the wedding of his daughter Tiffany, published November 11. After that, no messages, including on his Truth Social network, came from the former U.S. president.

Fox News noted that Trump has not commented in any way on Republican electoral failures, even though he is expected to announce his plans to run for the Republican Party in the 2024 presidential election in just a few days. The network also said that the politician's silence is likely indicative of his frustration with individual Republican Senate candidates who lost the election with his direct support.
