The National Bank of Ukraine said it was preparing the country's banking system for emergency conditions due to possible power outages. This is reported by Reuters, citing the Ukrainian regulator.
As told in the Ukrainian Central Bank of Ukraine, in connection with the emergency situation, it intends to ensure the viability of 14 systemically important banks in Ukraine.
In case of emergency, the National Bank will first of all ensure the viability of state-owned banks, it said.
