The Russian Foreign Ministry denied reports that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was hospitalized in Bali, where he had arrived to attend the G-20 summit.

"Sergei Viktorovich and I are reading the news in Indonesia and can't believe our eyes: it turns out he is hospitalized. This, of course, is the height of fakes. Well, wait, a world exclusive," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.

The AP earlier reported, citing an Indonesian official, that Lavrov had been hospitalized "due to heart problems."
