Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov met with his Georgian counterpart Juansher Burchuladze as part of his visit to Georgia, Azerbaijani media reported.

"The sides discussed regional security issues, prospects for developing military cooperation, holding joint exercises and organizing working meetings. In addition, they discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the military, military-technical sphere, in the areas of military education and medicine.

Following the meeting, the ministers signed a plan of bilateral military cooperation between the Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia for 2023," the report said.
