U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke out against the threatened use as well as the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine following a meeting at the G20 summit in Indonesia, the White House said in a statement.

President Biden and President Xi reaffirmed their agreement that a nuclear war must never be fought and can never be won, and stressed their position against the use or threatened use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine, the statement read.

According to the White House, Biden raised the issue of military action in Ukraine and Russia's alleged threats to use nuclear weapons.
