Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called Zelenskyy's speech at the "G20" a performance which exceeded all regulations and propriety, with which the West is trying to distract attention from the real G20 agenda, RIA Novosti reported.

According to him, Zelenskyy's twenty-minute lecture went beyond any regulations and propriety. This performance, arranged at the request of the West, is a good example of how the United States and the European Union are trying to divert attention from the real agenda of the "G20", from their share of responsibility for the accumulation of problems in the global economy.

Lavrov, who leads the Russian delegation, attended a plenary session (food and energy security) of the G20 summit in Indonesia on Tuesday.

The G20 summit is taking place on the island of Bali on November 15-16.
