The Russian Armed Forces have carried out "another planned strike on the energy infrastructure facilities" of Ukraine. The situation is critical, Kirill Timoshenko, advisor to the office of the President of Ukraine, wrote on his Telegram channel.
"Most of the hits were recorded in the center and the north of the country. In the capital the situation is very difficult, special emergency shutdown schedules are introduced.
"Ukrenergo is forced to start emergency blackouts to balance the power system and to avoid accidents.
"Stabilization shutdown schedules are not in effect yet. Consume electricity in moderation..." he noted.
Earlier, the Ukrainian media reported missile strikes in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Poltava region, Vinnitsa, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.
