Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan received a delegation of EU special envoys and EU member states on Eastern Partnership issues on November 15, Security Council told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Grigoryan welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia and praised the development of Armenia-EU relations based on democratic values, as well as Armenia's bilateral relations with EU member states.

The Secretary of the Security Council also expressed confidence that multidisciplinary cooperation can include the security sector. Grigoryan stressed the importance of the potential of the EU observation mission in the context of strengthening security in the region.

The Security Council Secretary answered the envoys' questions, giving some details of the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiation process, as well as the processes of unblocking regional economic ties and transport infrastructures, border delimitation and security.
