Armenia's military-industrial complex has been able to establish serial production of military products. The first orders are already placed, Hakob Arshakyan, the deputy speaker of the parliament from the ruling Civil Contract Party, stated at the session of the National Assembly during the discussion of the draft state budget for 2023 on Wednesday.

According to him, most of the developments have already been tested in real conditions. A number of companies have set up mass production of their products. "I emphasize that these are not pilot projects, but real orders from the Defense Ministry," he stressed.

They have launched mass production of unmanned aerial vehicles, radar systems, night vision devices and so on. By the way, all the products listed by the representative of the parliament passed all the state and military tests.

"Now supplies are being made. The defense industry in general is one of the fastest growing sectors in Armenia. In case of institutional approach, as well as simplification of the procurement procedure, a higher quality result can also be achieved," Arshakyan is convinced.

The parliamentarian stressed the importance of separating the military industry from the Defense Ministry. This, in his opinion, will ensure the development of mechanisms for working with foreign markets.

"Presentation of Armenian military products in foreign markets is one of the priority directions of the domestic military-industrial complex," summarized the deputy parliamentary speaker.
