There are no public negotiations, thus, by offering such an option Ukraine shows that it does not want to negotiate, said presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports.

"It's hard to imagine public negotiations at all. There are no public negotiations. Especially public negotiations in such an area. But one thing is certain: the Ukrainian side does not want any negotiations, the special military operation continues, its goals must be achieved," Peskov said, commenting on the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy's initiative to negotiate publicly.
