The Baltic Fleet will hold several dozen large exercises in winter, the fleet's press service reported.

According to its information, tank and motorized rifle units, air defense and communications formations, artillery, reconnaissance and aviation of the fleet will be involved in exercises in the framework of the winter training period.

In November the training and material base of the fleet's training ranges located in the Kaliningrad region was upgraded. More than 300 facilities for firearms training, driving combat vehicles and tactical training were prepared for the new school year. Special attention was paid to the condition of the firing ranges. More than 200 multifunctional mobile and stationary targets imitating automotive and armored vehicles, as well as machine-gun and anti-tank troops of the simulated enemy were made for them.
