On the sidelines of the 18th Summit of the International Organization of the Francophonie in Tunisia, Prime Minister Nicol Pashinyan had a meeting with his Montenegrin counterpart Dritan Abazovic.
The press service of the Armenian government informed NEWS.am that, during the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of expanding relations between Armenia and Montenegro.
Both sides touched upon the high level of political dialogue, which is a good basis for developing economic cooperation.
The sides exchanged views on the prospects of developing trade and economic relations. Interest was noted in the implementation of joint projects in the spheres of tourism, aviation, as well as in various branches of the economy of mutual interest. In this context, an agreement was reached on the continuation of the active contacts.
The Prime Ministers of Armenia and Montenegro also underlined that there are rich cultural ties between the two countries and peoples, which need to be deepened and strengthened.
Bilateral high-level reciprocal visits were mutually stressed.
