Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said he will propose a continuation of military arms supplies to Kiev in 2023, the newspaper il Foglio reported.
"As a member of the government, I will propose to extend the decree for the whole next year, which would be the right thing to do," he said.
Italy is working on a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will include air defense systems, among other things.
Rome is ready to supply Kyiv with various air defense systems. In particular, we are talking about Franco-Italian SAMP/T anti-aircraft missile systems, Italian medium-range Aspide anti-aircraft missiles and Stinger portable anti-aircraft missile systems.
