YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on Tuesday received a delegation led by Kazakh Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksilikov, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs Armenian news-NEWS.am.

The interlocutors, highly evaluating the current level of Armenian-Kazakh relations, reflected on the avenues for development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in defense.

Also, the Armenian defense minister briefed his Kazakh colleague on the situation as a result of the latest Azerbaijani military aggression.

In addition, the two defense ministers exchanged views on the course of reforms in the Armenian and Kazakh armies.

At the end of the meeting, Zhaksilikov invited Papikyan to Kazakhstan.
