Gold is getting cheaper Monday morning, trading just below $1,800 a troy ounce, trading data shows.
The price of February gold futures on the New York Comex Exchange was down $11.7, or 0.65%, to $1,799 a troy ounce. Silver futures for March delivery were down 0.77% to $23.535 an ounce.
