YEREVAN. – Internet donations for “Help your school” and “Help your kindergarten” projects exceeded AMD 1 billion ($2.7 million) in six months, Yerevan city hall press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

School donations amounted to $1.73 million. A total of 1,216 citizens and organizations made investments.

The hugest amount over AMD 500 million ($1.35 million) has been donated for the school N20 after John Kirakosyan in Yerevan. Schools N71 and N53 had $200,000 and $27,000 respectively. Yerevan kindergartens had more than $1 million donations by 2,000 citizens and organizations. Total of $766,700 was donated for N141 kindergarten.
