The European Union has approved a new package of sanctions against Russia, the Associated Press reports, citing diplomats.
The package, details of which were not disclosed, was approved at a meeting of EU ambassadors.
The European Commission last week proposed travel bans and asset freezes on nearly 200 more Russian officials and officers as part of the new package.
