Copper prices are rising weakly and correctively Wednesday morning after declining on Tuesday, trading data show.
March futures for copper on the Comex exchange rose 0.16% to $3.8578 a pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
At the end of trading on the London Metal Exchange (LME) on Friday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months rose by 0.47%, to $8,393.5, aluminum - by 0.8%, to $2,391.5, zinc - fell by 2.37% to $3,009.5.
