YEREVAN. – An unidentified driver of an Opel collided with a 23-year-old woman and failed to stop. The incident took place in Armenia’s Gyumri city on Friday.
The injured woman was taken to hospital, Armenian Police Department’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
On the evening of the same day, a 20-year-old by the name of Aram M. presented himself to the local police precinct, informing that he was the hit-and-run’s driver.
An investigation is underway.
